tea culture

Moroccan tea culture – rituals of hospitality

The tea culture of the Orient is much more than just a drink – it is a sign of deep connection, lively hospitality, and cultivated rituals. In Morocco in particular, the tea ceremony is considered the epitome of arrival, sharing, and lingering. This includes equipment that is not only functional but also artistically designed: intricately engraved tea trays, filigree teapots, colorful tea glasses, and stylish tea tables form the centerpiece of every traditional ceremony.

At the center is the characteristic pear-shaped teapot made of brass or silver, in which the green tea (usually gunpowder) is brewed. Fresh mint and sugar are added, which are provided on the tray or tea table in small, finely decorated vessels. Once the tea is ready, it is poured into the glasses in an elegant arc from a height – this creates a light foam crown, which is considered a sign of special care. The scent of mint fills the room, creating a relaxing and invigorating effect.

Our collection invites you to discover Moroccan tea culture with all your senses – whether with a classic teapot, a detailed brass tray, or colorful tea glasses with gold decoration. Each piece bears the signature of traditional craftsmanship and adds a special depth to your tea moments.

Good to know:
For an authentic mint tea, all you need is green tea, fresh nana mint, and sugar – served with pastries, it becomes a sensual ritual for guests and connoisseurs.
